The market value of VR/AR will reach US$34.08 billion and US$60.55 billion respectively in 2023


Recently, ResearchAndMarkets has released the report Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality Market, Device Types, Applications and Geography - 2023 Global Forecast. According to this research, by 2023, the global augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) market value will reach 60.55 billion U.S. dollars and 34.08 billion U.S. dollars, respectively.

In 2018, the AR market value was 11.14 billion U.S. dollars and it is expected to reach 60.55 billion U.S. dollars by 2023 with a compound growth rate of 40.29% during the forecast period. Increased investment as well as demand in healthcare industries are the main drivers of the AR market.

 The report released by ResearchAndMarkets covers augmented reality and virtual reality markets based on products, technologies, applications, device types, and geographic locations. Consumer applications will make contribution to the development of AR and VR markets during the forecast period.
